About Us
PST began operations in the fall of 2005. Originally created as a small team of public employees with grant writing experience, PST has grown to incorporate both public and private sector technology project solution management.
Six founding members of PST offer unique backgrounds and expertise in their sector and discipline. Collectively, PST members offer unparalleled specialties in application, software, hardware, and technical grant-writing and grant management.
David VandenBos, Director of Operations
David's background includes more than a dozen years in the fire service industry, including senior officer positions. David has a Masters in Public Administration, and has been responsible for managing more than $5,000,000 program budgets. As the lead member of PST, David brings the unique ability to see all sides of a project - funding, planning, implementation, and rollout. This insight helps eliminate problems before they occur. |
Alan Sakoman, Director of Application Development
Alan has his undergrad degree in MIS, and a Masters in Artificial Intelligence. He has worked on multiple software application development projects, including payroll, time sheet, employee management and help desk software programs. Alan understands C, C++. PERL, and a host of other acronyms for software development. Besides english, Alan speaks fluent Croatian & Russian.

Trevis Burkett, Director of Database Management
As any database administrator can tell you, if you don't manage a database properly, it's only a matter of time before it fails. Trevis specializes in database management and utilization. WIth a background in Microsoft Sequel Server for both small and large corporations, Trevis helps PST provide highly efficient database tools and management for projects requiring them. Trevis is a MCDBA, MCT, & MCSE with more than ten years of database administration and consulting to his credit. |
Jeff Ochester, Director of Network Operations
With more than a decade of experience in the technology industry and Fire/EMS sector, Jeff provides PST with the network administration and engineering background for its projects. He has training, certifications, and experience with Microsoft, Cisco, Apple, Macromedia, 3Com, M/A-Com, JPS, and Toshiba. Jeff also provides front-end user training and project management for PST customers.

Nathan Hiester, Director of Radio Technology
With experience in the Fire, EMS, and radio sector for more than ten years, Nathan provides PST with the technical radio know how and public sector grant program management. He has experience and training in radio programming and installation (M/A-Com, Motorola, Kenwood, Icom, etc). Nathan was instrumental providing technical solutions for interoperability during Ohio's Miami Valley migration to 800 Mhz radio system. In addition, Nathan is certified as a Level II firefighter and Paramedic, with program management and officer experience.

Stacy Sheldon, Director of Business Management
More than ten years experience in business-to-business marketing and management, Stacy provides expert management to PST projects. With a Masters in Business Administration (MBA), and experiences with Fortune 100 companies, Stacy's balance of timeline management and solution implementation helps PST customers meet their end goal of success.
